Why I'm starting this blog on emotional intelligence

If you know me at all, you know I love sharing my discoveries. Not to brag, but because when something truly changes me, I want others to benefit from it too. And emotional intelligence is one of the biggest discoveries I've made in recent years.
The turning point: my first encounter with the EQ-i 2.0

I'll be honest with you. When I took my first EQ-i 2.0 assessment, a little voice in my head said: "okay, another tool. I'll find it interesting for two weeks, and then I'll forget about it like everything else."
Except that's not what happened.
I've retaken the assessment a few times since, at different moments in my life. And every time, I was surprised to see how the results shift depending on where I am, what I'm going through, who's influencing me at that moment. It's alive. It's me, evolving, with numbers to back it up.
What emotional intelligence at work changes in a whole life
The most surprising part wasn't what I learned about myself at work. It was seeing how much it carries over into everything else.
The way I manage my emotions at the office is the same way I now show up with my loved ones, my colleagues, my clients. I've become more attuned to myself, and oddly enough, that made me more empathetic toward others too. As if understanding my own reactions better gave me a kind of decoder for everyone else's.
We're all emotional creatures
And that's not a flaw. It's just... the baseline. We can be as rational, organized, and professional as we want, we're still emotional creatures who react, feel, and adjust our behaviour depending on how we're feeling that morning.
Having a tool that helps us understand that better is extraordinary. And the best part is realizing that by getting to know ourselves better, we automatically become better at relating to the people around us. This isn't about right or wrong answers, or a personality to fix. It's a snapshot of your current tendencies, at a specific moment in your life, and they can evolve.

And now, here's emotional intelligence in everyday life
In my work with organizations, entrepreneurs, and creatives, I notice the same thing again and again: people understand that emotional intelligence matters, but struggle to see how it translates into their everyday life. It still feels like an abstract concept, almost mysterious.
This blog is my way of bridging that gap. Not with complicated theory, but with real examples, lived situations, and yes, a bit of humour along the way. Because at the end of the day, whether you're a manager, an entrepreneur, or a creative, we're all emotional beings, and learning to understand ourselves better changes everything: how we decide, communicate, lead, and create.
That's exactly what my approach offers, whether through an individual EQ-i 2.0 profile, a presentation for your team, or tools that combine your emotional profile with artificial intelligence to support the areas where you feel less comfortable. Or simply by following this blog to see where it can take you.
What if understanding your emotions became your greatest asset, rather than a mystery to manage?
I invite you to stick around: more posts are coming on different facets of emotional intelligence, and you can subscribe to my newsletter so you don't miss any. And if something in this post resonated with you, I'd love to hear about it, feel free to leave a comment.
